Volleyball: A Sport for Ages 4 to 104
Volleyball is a sport which is a fun and athletic sport for all ages! My (amazing) great-aunt is in her 90’s and currently plays on a chair volleyball team to stay healthy and socialize with peers! On the other end of the spectrum, Texas One Volleyball begins volleyball instruction with preschoolers as young as 4 all the way up to adulthood! What I noticed is special about Texas One Volleyball club is the tiered, scaffolded approach to learning the game of volleyball in a fun, athletic environment. Preschoolers start by learning simple rules of the game and developing motor-skills and handling a volleyball. Each year after adds more in-depth training and builds on the foundational skills from the previous years!
Texas One Volleyball is so much more than a volleyball club; in addition to solid volleyball skills and good exercise, coaches strive to instill in their volleyball players a multitude of life skills like:
Texas One Volleyball boasts a co-ed youth league for little ‘volleyballers’, an adult league and a full-fledged competitive club where students in a rigorous volleyball academy are prepared to play competitively in high school and beyond (Who knows? Maybe even a Summer Olympics!)
