To start off, we specialise in robotics and programming. Most of you know that as a field it is a very wide domain, usually involves the hardware (the mechanical design, the motors, sensors and miscellaneous blings that you will find on a robot), the semi hardware (the electronics that stands in the gap between your power supply, your code, and your hardware), and the software (the code that governs robot behaviour and “intelligence”). We have several competitions for a range of age groups that can channel competitive instincts in kids through a positive way. For example, asking children to build a robot from a Lego set and then running a race to see which robot goes fastest works well in our classes – The kids really enjoy such things.
Not to mention, but there is considerable anecdotal evidence that students respond well in subjects involving programming of robots.
